Pitot tubes

Pitot tubes are used for measuring gas velocity and volumes. Typical US Pitot tubes use hemispherical tips, other regions and specific applications may call for use ellipsoidal tips. Type-S Pitot tubes are used for "dirty" atmospheres with high solids loadings, such as air conveyors for dust, coal or grains. SMG represents the following Pitot tube suppliers.
