840028 SPER GRAPHIC DISPLAY SOUND LEVEL METER

The Sper 840028 Sound Level Meter (SLM) covers 30-130dB in the A scale and 35-130dB in the C scale with a resolution of 0.1dB and an accuracy of ±1.5dB.

The 840028 meets ANSI S1.4 type 2 and IEC 651 type 2 requirements. Meter has A & C dB frequency weighting scales, fast and slow response capabilities, AC or DC output, low battery indicator, peak function and can be calibrated in compliance with OSHA regulations using 2 Pt. Acoustical Calibrator 850016.

In addition, model 840028 contains many advanced features including: a large LCD display with an analog bar graph, auto-ranging, and max-min functions and RS232 computer interface. Special function allows accurate measurement of equipment noise in the presence of high background noise.

Comes ready to use with a windscreen, 9V battery, instructions, and a hard shell carrying case. The Graphic Display Sound Meter 840028 works with the Sper Scientific Software 840052.
