Vane anemometers work on the principle that a freely turning turbine will rotate at a speed directly proportional to the wind speed. The sensitivity and balance of the low friction bearings enable measurement of even the weakest air currents. 2¾” diameter probes operate at temperatures of 32 ~ 122ºF. Extra large LCDs simultaneously display air temperature and air speed in a variety of units of measure. Models 840001, 840002 , and 840033 also read air volume.

All units have hold and min-max functions. Units with RS232 output also serve as data loggers, when connected to your computer via the RS232 ports. Models 840001, 840002, 840032, 840033, and 850071 feature detachable probes for use in vents and other hard to reach places, and for easy replacement and repair. All Sper Scientific Anemometers are attractively priced, come ready to use with probes*, 9V battery, carrying case, and clear instructions. Meters are warranted for 5 years.
