The Bios DryCal ML-500
primary flow calibrator is a high precision, cost effective primary gas flow
calibration standard that provides NIST traceable calibration records with
an accuracy of better than 0.5%. Using dry-piston technology the Bios DryCal
Met Lab series brings advantages of high speed flow measurements and unsurpassed
accuracy to the calibration laboratory in a primary (dimension-based) self
validating instrument.
The Bios DryCal ML-500 offers continuous readouts of flow rate, flow average, and the averaged number of readings for both volumetric and STP corrected flow. The Bios DryCal ML-500 has three interchangeable flow cells providing measurements from 5.0 sccm to 50 L/min. Bios DryCal flow cells use a patented, near frictionless dry-piston and precision photo-optic sensors to obtain volumetric flow readings quickly and accurately. The readings are direct and primary; no assumptions about gas characteristics are needed and there is no mechanism for significant calibration drift. Flow is measured directly as volume per unit time. Internal self-tests by the Bios DryCal ML-500 (patent pending) automatically validate each readings accuracy. Flow is displayed directly at room conditions and at STP conditions. The standardizing sensors are located in the measured gas stream, directly the the entrance to the measuring cylinder for highest accuracy. |
