IQ6 Docking Station for PhD6 Detector

The Biosystems IQ6 Dock™ is a fully automated bump test, calibration, meter diagnostics and data download center for the PhD6 gas monitor from Biosystems div Honeywell Safety Products. Placing the meter in the dock initiates the test / calibration data logging sequence.

The IQ6 Dock identifies the instrument, performs a quick battery test which is followed by a bump test. If the detector fails the bump test, the IQ6 automatically performs a full span calibration of the detector, without intervention from the user.

Once the instrument passes the bump test or span calibration, the IQ6 automatically tests the audible, visible and vibrating (if available) alarms before downloading instrument data. Once all the tests are passed, the IQ6 Dock will show "Ready" on the display, letting you know that the meter is ready to go.

The IQ6 Dock comes standard with two configurable gas ports, which is sufficient for most users. A 4-port model is available for users using instruments with a wider variety of sensor options.

Configuration Options

  • Standalone calibration station
  • 2-port docks can process a PhD6 using one multi-gas and one single component cylinders or two single component cylinders
  • 4-port docks can process a PhD6 using one multi-gas cylinder and three single component cylinders or four single component cylinders
  • Connected to PC via USB or Ethernet for enhanced control over calibration and data acquisition during testing.
  • Ethernet capable docks can send e-mail to a specified address when a fault is detected.
  • Single or Multiple Docks
  • Cascade between 1 and 4 docks
