The
testo 470 is a handy dual function tachometer with both
optical
and mechanical rpm measurement in a small handheld instrument.
The 470 is supplied with the necessary attachments for
both types
of measurement in a handy plastic case.
Non-Contact
Optical Measurement: easily measure rpm by
attaching a reflector to the object to be measured, pointing
the visible red light beam at the reflector and reading the
RPM on the LCD.
Contact
Measurement: attach either of the
included adapters - a conical probe tip or surface
speed disk.
